This chartbook was compiled by SHADAC for the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota to highlight how Minnesota is doing on a number of key indicators of child health. It draws on data from a variety of sources to look at how Minnesota’s children fare in terms of health insurance, health care access and use, health status, and health behaviors. Where possible, comparisons are made within regions of the Minnesota, to neighboring states, and to national averages. October 2010.

American Indian/Alaska Native Uninsurance Disparities: A Comparison of Three Surveys
This page provides an archive of SHADAC's September 30, 2010 webinar to discuss the 2009 health insurance coverage estimates from the American Community Survey (ACS) and Current Population Survey (CPS). This webinar featured experts from the U.S. Census Bureau who reviewed the estimates, discussed the comparison between the ACS and CPS and responded to questions from the audience. We'd like to extend a special thanks to the Census Bureau for participating in this webinar.
Resources related to the webinar and questions that arose during the discussion are below, followed by the archive video of the webinar.
The 2010 CPS replicate weights are available as a separate file via FTP at this link.
ACS distribution of interviews by mode is in Figure 7.2 of the ACS Design and Methodology documentation.
Note: the webinar recording cover slide errantly refers to September 30, 2009. The correct year is 2010.
