Kelli Johnson, PhD
Dr. Johnson has nearly 25 years of experience working in state government in the health policy arena. She is currently involved in SHADAC's evaluation of the SIM initiative in Minnesota, for which she is analyzing the implementation and outcomes of health care practice transformation efforts throughout the state.
Prior to joining SHADAC, Dr. Johnson worked in health care compliance at Allina Health System; served as Assistant Commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Health, where she coordinated public health policy activities with the Governor's office and the Minnesota Legislature; and worked at the Minnesota House of Representatives and in the office of U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger. Dr. Johnson holds a doctorate in Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development—Evaluation Studies from the University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
