Lindsay Sabik, PhD
Lindsay is the co-principal investigator on a SHARE-funded project to examine the impact of California’s early Medicaid expansion on inpatient and emergency department utilization at safety net hospitals using data from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP).
Sabik is an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research expertise is around health policy, health economics, Medicaid, low-income and underserved populations, access to health care, health care safety nets and cancer prevention and control.
Other Professional Roles
Prior to teaching, Lindsay completed a research fellowship in Bioethics from 2003-2005 in Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. She received her Ph.D. in Health Policy from Harvard University.
