Jeffrey Barrera
Research Assistant

Jeffrey Barrera joined SHADAC in 2024 as a Master of Public Health student in the Public Health Administration & Policy Program. He is interested in health care quality improvement measures, health equity research, and policy analysis. Before starting his master's degree, Jeffrey earned a B.S. at the University of Minnesota in Health & Wellbeing Sciences, with an emphasis in Public Health. As a Research Assistant, Jeffrey hopes to hone his research skills in quantitative and qualitative approaches and contribute to SHADAC's mission of being an indispensable force in state health policy research and dissemination. 

In his free time, Jeffrey is an avid runner, enjoys cooking, and is a New York Times Games enthusiast.
