Health Insurance Coverage in Minnesota: Results from the 2013 Minnesota Health Access Survey (MNHA)

This fact sheet from the Health Economics Program at the Minnesota Department of Health provides updated results from the 2013 Minnesota Health Access Survey, and compares the findings to analyses of surveys conducted in previous years.  Topics include the rate of uninsurance in the state, sources of insurance coverage, disparities in access to insurance, and demographic and employment characteristics of the uninsured in Minnesota. This fact sheet has been updated from the preliminary results that appeared in February 2014. Updates include an adjustment to the statistical weights for the years 2009 and 2011, and a refinement in the calculation of potential eligibility for public programs. (May 2014)
