Now Available: 2017 State & County Uninsured Tables, with Comparison Year 2016
September 17, 2018:SHADAC has produced tables of state and county uninsurance estimates for 2017 and comparison year 2016. These estimates come from the 2017 American Community Survey (ACS) via the U.S. Census Bureau's American FactFinder (AFF) tool and were released on September 13, 2018.
SHADAC's tables provide uninsured rates by characteristics (e.g., age, race/ethnicity, and poverty level) for both 2017 and comparison year 2016 for each state (and the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico) and for all counties within each state that have a population greater than 65,000. The tables are available via clickable map here.
