SHADAC has launched a new online tool that allows easy access to health insurance coverage estimates.
Using currently available sources of health insurance data can be time consuming and cumbersome for both policymakers and researchers. In addition, tracking these estimates over time is an outright challenge. A new web-based tool, developed by researchers at SHADAC, allows quick and easy access to health insurance coverage estimates and trends.
The SHADAC Data Center, being released today, allows users to:
- Access U.S. Census Bureau data quickly and easily
- Utilize coverage trend data from 1987 to present, available for the first time using SHADAC’s exclusive enhanced estimates
- Translate data into customized tables and graphs that can be easily downloaded
- Export data for use quickly, without the hassle of downloading new software
To introduce the new tool, experts at SHADAC will host a webinar at 1 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, November 17, to give researchers and interested stakeholders a chance to learn more about how the new Data Center can be used and how SHADAC’s enhanced data can be accessed.
