January 21, 2009. SHARE grantee Joel Cantor was quoted in the New York Times about the effectiveness of laws that allow young adults to be claimed as dependents on their parents’ health insurance plans. "We’ve reviewed the laws and regulations from all 25 states," said Cantor, the director of the Center for State Healthy Policy at Rutgers University, who is studying the national impact of the state laws on insuring young adults. "This is about as incremental as incremental gets." (New York Times, 1/19/09)
