SHADAC Receives Policy Impact Award

The American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) awarded SHADAC the 2012 Policy Impact Award.  This award recognizes SHADAC for efforts to improve the federal survey data infrastructure so that data are more useful and accessible and better able to inform state health policy. 

As a Policy Impact Award winner, SHADAC joins the company of such organizations as the U.S. Department of Defense Comprehensive Review Working Group; ABC News; the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) Team at the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ); the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research; and the RAND Corporation. 

The award will be conferred at the AAPOR 26th Annual Conference, to be held May 17-20, 2012 in Orlando.
