March 24, 2014: States are still very active in the development of their All-Payer Claims Data Base (APCD) programs to support state data analysis around costs and quality.
The Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) recently issued additional funds for states as part of their new insurance regulatory activities under the ACA. This SHADAC “Data Snapshot” provides an overview on the use of these funds for APCD development and use by state.
