Minnesota Releases 2011 Insurance Coverage Estimates

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) released "Health Insurance Coverage in Minnesota, Early Results from the 2011 Minnesota Health Access Survey."  Based on research collaboration between MDH and SHADAC Investigator Kathleen Call, the survey found 9.1% of Minnesotans were without coverage in 2011, unchanged from 9.0% in 2009.  Young adults (age 18-25) show a decline in uninsurance from 21.8% in 2009 to 16.7% in 2011.
