November 4, 2013: SHADAC Director Lynn Blewett will participate in a panel discussion on November 13th about the challenge of enrolling the low-income uninsured in harder-to-reach communities for coverage in Minnesota's health insurance exchange.
The discussion is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs and will also feature State Representative Jim Abeler and State Senator Tony Lourey. The group will discuss how well MNsure is performing with respect to enrolling vulnerable populations and which outreach and enrollment strategies hold the most promise for success. Dave Hage from the Star Tribune will moderate the discussion.
The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on November 13th at the Humphrey Forum and is free and open to the public. A light dinner will follow the event.
