Christina Carberry, BA
Research Assistant

Christina Carberry joined SHADAC in 2016 as a graduate Research Assistant. She is pursuing dual Masters’ degrees in Public Policy and Public Health through the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School and School of Public Health. Her interest areas include women’s and reproductive health care, state health policy, health insurance, and health inequities.

Before going back to school, she worked at the Minnesota Legislature and on campaigns for several years, including time as Campaign Manager for then-Speaker of the Minnesota House, Paul Thissen, and as a Legislative Assistant in the Minnesota House of Representatives. She grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in American Studies, with a concentration and minors in Political Science and Sociology.
