SHARE and State Network co-host this event each year to bring together state officials and state health policy researchers and facilitate an exchange of ideas about state health policy and health reform. The goal is that discussions and ideas generated at the breakfast will inform the research agenda of SHARE and the technical assistance provided by State Network, ensuring that the efforts of both programs are useful to states. More broadly, the breakfast provides a networking opportunity for SHARE staff, grantees, and state stakeholders, and facilitates the dissemination of SHARE findings to a wider audience.
