Study of the Impact of the Affordable Care Act Implementation in Kentucky

The Study of the Impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on Health Coverage, Access, Quality, Cost, and Outcomes in Kentucky (Study), funded by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, is a three-year mixed methods study analyzing the key effects of the ACA in Kentucky. The Study is conducted by the State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC), a health policy research institute at the University of Minnesota.

The project was funded by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. The Foundation's mission is to addresss the unmet health care needs of Kentucky, by developing and influencing policy, improving access to care, reducing health risks and disparities and promoting health equity.
